The challenge will be held July 28-30, 2017, at the Parma Rod and Gun Club in Parma, Idaho.

Considered to be one of the premier rimfire championships in the nation, the fifth annual Rimfire Challenge incorporates both .22 caliber pistols and rifles. Courses of fire are created with safety as the top priority but feature fun scenarios that meet all skill levels, from professional shooters to first-time attendees.
As part of its sponsorship, Adaptive Tactical has donated four of its RM4 Stocks and four of its Tac-Hammer Barrels to the prize table.
The RM4 Stock is the most advanced and versatile stock available for the extremely popular Ruger® 10/22® rifle. The patented removable barrel insert provides a custom fit for both standard tapered barrels and .920″ bull barrels. The patented Stowaway™ accessory rail is concealed in the forend. When revealed, the rail is available for a bi-pod or other accessories. The adjustable butt-stock lets the shooter get the perfect length-of-pull and is also equipped with ambidextrous storage compartments for two spare Ruger rotary magazines. The Tac-Hammer Rigid-Core Post-Tension Barrel Package includes a barrel, cantilevered optic rail and front threaded compensator. The barrel delivers the benefits of a bull barrel’s larger diameter and related stiffness – greater accuracy and repeatability of shot – without the added weight. It accomplishes this through a rigid-core, stepped barrel design encased within a post-tension, aluminum shroud. The Tac-Hammer Barrel design is about 40 percent lighter than the standard bull barrel. The included compensator reduces muzzle rise, increasing second and third shot accuracy.
