CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst) awarded an additional $50,000 grant to the Independent College Fund (I-Fund) of Maryland as part of a regional initiative aimed at increasing college graduation among financially-needy college students majoring in the Health and Life Science fields. This commitment, combined with their earlier donation of $50,000, ranks among the largest corporate donations to the I-Fund.
