Winchester, Ky. (December 2017) – DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles, pistols and edged weapons, has opened a new division, DoubleStar International, to focus on new products and accessories made to the same superior standards as all their US-made products, but manufactured abroad.

“DoubleStar has a long history of bringing the best US-made products to market and we will continue to do so,” Stacy Starnes, CEO of DoubleStar explained. “We know our customers want quality products made to DoubleStar standards while providing more value to the consumer. That will be the focus of our new international division. Our mission is to remain completely honest with our customers about where our products are produced. Some of the first items in the new DoubleStar International line-up are edged weapons. In their tradition of partnering with some of the top knife designers and trainers in the world, DoubleStar International will unveil the Brimstone Folding Knife designed by Mike Vellekamp of V Nives, LLC. The new Brimstone edge weapons and others will be on display at the 2018 SHOT Show at booth 20061 and 20063.
“Myself and all the knife designers and trainers have realized that foreign manufacturers of edged weapons have improved leaps and bounds over what was previously thought of as second-rate production,” Cabrera added. “The tooling and machining is on par with American standards now, so it makes sense to partner with these foreign manufacturers to bring to market some of the great collaborations you’ll see from us that offer superior design and craftsmanship and won’t break the bank to own.”
