DoubleStar will be sponsoring the event at a “Rockstar” Sponsorship Level. The match will take place Aug. 17 – 19, 2018 at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky.
Winchester, Ky. (August 2018) – DoubleStar Corp, manufacturers of high-quality, US-made AR components, rifles and pistols, is proud to announce it is celebrating its fifth year as a “Rockstar” Level Sponsor of the upcoming Rockcastle Pro Am 3 Gun Championship. The eighth annual event will be held on Aug. 17 – 19, 2018 at the Rockcastle Shooting Center at Park Mammoth Resort in Park City, Kentucky. This year, DoubleStar will be donating over $10,000 worth of product to the prize table, including its new ARP7 and Midnight Dragon™ for both the Pro and Amateur prize tables, as well as almost one of every product from the Edged Weapon Division, including the Noogie™ Bottle Opener.
DoubleStar will have approximately 10 sponsored shooters competing in the match at both the Pro and Am level, including two factory representatives and Brittany Long, the recent high school graduate female shooter from Princeton, West Virginia. There will also be a “Vendor’s Row” area where most of the match sponsors, including DoubleStar, will set up a booth to sell their products, as well as to answer questions and talk face to face with the competitors of the match.

The Rockcastle Pro Am 3 Gun Championship is the “next level” of multi-gun competitions, with the largest field of competitors in the sport at both the Pro and Amateur level competing in two simultaneous competitions, each with their own epic prize table. The Pro competition sees over 200 Pro shooters compete over two and one-half days, running eight challenging, technical and fun stages designed by former and current 3 Gun Champions. The Amateur competition sees more than 200 shooters compete for two days on a separate course of seven stages, also designed by the 3 Gun greats, tailored especially for amateur and celebrity competitors.
