Laura Burgess Marketing (LBM), public relations and marketing communications for the law enforcement, tactical, military, shooting sports, boating and recreational fishing markets, has opened a new Event
Planning and Management Division to be headed up by recently promoted Vice President of Marketing and Events, Ashley Burgess Gall. The Event Planning and Management Division will complement LBM’s existing services divisions in public relations, advertising strategies, corporate communications, writer relations and digital and emerging media.
LBM will now provide event planning, management and execution for a range of projects targeting media, B2B and consumers. The new division will include services such as creative and concept development, budget and production schedule management, on site logistics including venues, permits and rentals, talent sourcing and programming, along with PR, social media and sponsorship integration. LBM offers planning for a wide variety of events, including writer events, launch parties, promotional events, customer or employee appreciation events, corporate meetings, special outings and more.

LBM’s inaugural writer’s event, “Make Big Noise,” will be hosted at the G4S International Training (ITI) Facility, located in Shacklefords, VA, June 24th – 25th, 2014. The event will cover a full day of class and range product demonstrations, as well as a half day driving course taught by the G4S ITI instructors. Exhibiting manufacturers include: American Built Arms, Chamber-View®,DoubleTap Defense, Fobus Holsters,IWI US, LaserLyte, Liberty Ammunition, MG Industries, Mission First Tactical, Morphix Technologies and Tacprogear.
