Ritter & Stark GmbH will exhibit the SX-1 Modular Tactical Rifle at the 2017 International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi.
Feistritz, Austria (February 2017) – Ritter & Stark GmbH, an Austrian-based firearms design and manufacturing company, will be exhibiting its SX-1 Modular Tactical Rifle (MTR) at IDEX in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Feb. 19-23, 2017 in the Austrian Pavilion, No. 07-D18. IDEX is the only international defence event in the Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) region where companies can demonstrate the latest technologies for land, sea and air defence sectors.
The SX-1 MTR is precision perfected. The world’s top firearms engineers and designers have used the latest manufacturing processes and most technologically advanced materials to create the SX-1 MTR, a rifle that can be customized to fit the mission and the user, as well as delivering punishing performance, shot after accurate shot.
The SX-1 MTR long-range precision rifle is an ideal weapon platform for military and law enforcement agencies, as well as serious competitors and shooters. The SX-1 MTR can quickly and easily change calibers between a .308 Win, .300 Win Magnum and a .338 Lapua Magnum. The MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail is installed directly on the barrel, allowing the user to interchange barrels with pre-set scopes without a loss of zero. The patented caliber conversion system assures that the barrel is precisely positioned in the machined aluminum receiver, allowing for a greater area of contact, resulting in increased stability. The bolt also locks directly into the barrel breech which gives the SX-1 MTR unprecedented accuracy.
Additionally, other features on the SX-1 MTR make it attractive to law enforcement, military operators and serious shooters. The SX-1’s modularity allows the utilization of different aftermarket magazines, triggers and grips.
Ritter & Stark barrels are guaranteed 100 percent accuracy to at least leading in industry 5,000 rounds for .308Win and .338LM and 2,000 rounds for .300WM. Ritter & Stark’s SX-1 MTR’s accuracy is factory proven to be a consistent 0.5 MOA with 3‐round groups or better using factory match grade ammunition.
