The backpack is built on Tasmanian Tiger’s V2 Plus Carrying System, a size-adjustable system designed for medium to heavy loads. The versatility of the V2 Plus system allows the user to detach the hip strap in order to carry while wearing a fully-packed plate carrier or chest rig. An added benefit is that the detachable hip strap can be conveniently worn separately as a “warrior belt.” The reviewing officers all commented on the adjustability, fit, comfort and security of the pack while worn.
The Illinois officer who rated the pack first noticed how it was designed to fit a multiplicity of uses, “I noticed aspects of a hiking pack, medical aid bag, weapons transportation and MOLLE attachments, literally everywhere.” The TT Modular Pack 45+ has a removeable lid compartment and laser-cut MOLLE on the sides and front allowing limitless versatility in outfitting the backpack for any mission or recreational activity. Modularity is consistent with the MOLLE hook-and-loop on the inside, 3 hook-and-loop accessory pouches, hook-and-loop weapon and hook-and-loop strips.
Additionally, the TT Modular Pack 45+ is designed to be extremely rugged. The officers all ran the pack through a variety of durability tests including running over the pack multiple times with a truck, dragging it behind a truck, and mud and water tests.
