National Tactical Officers Association The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is sponsoring a free webinar on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. EDT for NTOA members. The webinar will review philosophy and tactics used by terrorist organizations to defeat and subjugate law enforcement. This presentation will discuss the current state of affairs globally as they pertain to extremist Islamic terrorist groups and their efforts to escalate attacks on United States soil. Mr. Bart Branyon will leverage his expertise and first-hand knowledge from abroad, to include Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, to illustrate this discussion.

To be successful, the terrorists must first demonstrate that law enforcement is incapable of consistently protecting United States citizens. Law enforcement must be the proactive vanguard to address this threat.

SWAT OfficerPresenter Bio: Mr. Bart Branyon is a retired sergeant from the Olathe (KS) Police Department. Mr. Branyon served as a SWAT officer, sniper, team supervisor and tactical operations center commander. He has served the Department of Defense as a battlefield counter-terrorism investigator in Afghanistan and Iraq and has also worked in various CT missions in Asia and the Middle-East.
