The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) announces the James Torkar Educational Scholarship Program application period is open from Nov. 1, 2015 through April 20, 2016. This program benefits dependent children of members with active NTOA “Individual” memberships that are at least 16 years old and U.S. citizens. It provides funding for tuition and other eligible expenses through an IRS 529 College Savings Plan or a direct payment to the educational institution. The number and amount of the scholarships shall be awarded at the discretion of the board of directors of the NTOA.
