The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Opens Registration for its Annual Tactical Operations Conference & Trade Show to be Held in Louisville, Kentucky Aug. 14 – 19, 2016

Kentucky

The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is proud to announce their 33rd Annual Tactical Operations Conference & Trade Show, to be held  Aug. 14 – 19, 2016 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Hosted by the Louisville, Kentucky Police Department, this conference will draw hundreds of attendees from all size agencies and departments from all corners of the U.S., Canada and other parts of the world.

The NTOA training conference brings together every critical component needed for an invaluable experience: internationally renowned instructors, cutting-edge approaches to challenges faced by officers, a first-class trade show and the opportunity to network and learn from peers.

The conference features a general session, trade show, a variety of seminars and practical tracks, and several contemporary incident debriefs.

Besides our highly anticipated annual Awards Banquet, which honors outstanding officers and organizations, this year we will be hosting a Welcome Reception on Monday night. This will be the perfect opportunity for students, vendors and instructors to meet, relax and mingle.

The exhibit hall will house more than 200 top-notch vendors featuring the latest in law enforcement technology and equipment, including apparel, body armor/personal protection, communications, firearms and ammunition, fitness equipment, footwear, nylon gear, surveillance/electronics, TEMS gear, training equipment, vehicles and WMD. Companies can register to exhibit at https://shows.map-dynamics.com/ntoa2016/?register.

Modern issues demand modern responses, and new seminar-based courses led by experienced police leaders will explore challenges faced in this post-Ferguson time, including ethics, command issues and suicidal subject incidents. In addition to our 16, 24 and 30-hour practical tracks, other timely topics, including Corrections, Less-Lethal Recertification and Use of Force, will be offered in 8, 16, and 24-hour seminar tracks. The practical training tracks are led by renowned instructors and encompass the very latest in law enforcement tactics and techniques.

New this year, we are offering both one- and two-day pricing packages to go along with the weeklong package. This will allow more flexibility for students to go to one or two days of the conference if they cannot attend the entire week, and the vendor show is included in all packages.

Registration for the 2016 NTOA Tactical Operations Conference & Trade Show is open to all active law enforcement officers.
