The NTOA revamps conference and trade show with new pricing structure and conference packages, as well as the first-ever Welcome Event and new classes/seminars.
Doylestown, Pa. (March 2016) – The National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) is shaking things up for this year’s annual Tactical Operations Conference & Trade Show with several important changes, including new one- and two-day pricing packages, a brand new Welcome Reception and 20 new classes and seminars.
To allow more flexibility for its students, NTOA is now offering both one- and two-day pricing packages to go along with the weeklong package. Now students who cannot attend the entire week will have several options available to them, all while still being able to attend the trade show, which is included in all packages.
In response to an overwhelming demand for more classes and seminars focused on modern issues and modern responses, NTOA has announced 20 new seminar-based courses led by experienced police leaders that will explore the challenges of this post-Ferguson time, including ethics, command issues and suicidal subject incidents. New courses include Public Order Foundation Course – Introduction to Advanced Riot Control; Tactical Maritime Interdiction Operations; S.A.V.E. (Swift Assisted Victim Extraction) for Fire/EMS and LE; Less Lethal, FSDD, Chemical Agents – Recertification; Corrections Operational Planning; Top 20 Tactical Concepts; Excellence in Training; Surveillance Detection; and many, many more.
On Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at 8 p.m., all conference attendees, vendor representatives and instructors are invited to the Sports and Social Club on S. Fourth St. for NTOA’s first-ever Welcome Reception. The Sports and Social Club is a five-minute walk from the Galt House Hotel. This will be the perfect opportunity for students, vendors and instructors to meet, relax and mingle. Drinks and appetizers will be provided.
