Cimarron Firearms to Exhibit at SHOT Show® 2026

Heirloom-quality firearms on display, featuring the historically authentic U.S. Cavalry “Buffalo Soldier” Model, in Booth 10933 (VE2) at SHOT Show® 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fredericksburg, Texas (January 2026) – Cimarron Firearms, the premier name in authentic Old West firearm replicas, announced it will exhibit at SHOT Show® 2026, taking place Jan. 20 – 23, 2026, at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada. Attendees can find an extensive selection of heirloom-quality pistols, rifles, and shotguns, highlighting the craftsmanship, fit, finish, and historical accuracy that have defined the brand for over four decades at Booth 10933 (VE2).

Among the featured products will be the U.S. Cavalry “Buffalo Soldier” Model, a new offering that exemplifies Cimarron’s uncompromising commitment to authenticity through meticulous historical research. It is inspired by the exceedingly rare 1st Generation Colt Single-Action Army pistols inspected by U.S. Ordnance Department Principal Sub-Inspector in Charge Henry Nettleton. Cimarron has gone above and beyond to faithfully recreate the original Colt Single-Action Cavalry Model, incorporating Nettleton’s distinctive inspection initials using the exact fonts, placements, and proof marks found on the originals.

Chambered in .45 Colt, the Henry Nettleton Cavalry model features a 7 ½-inch barrel, standard blue finish, and walnut grips. What sets this firearm apart is its extraordinary historical accuracy. In 1878, Nettleton inspected and stamped approximately 3,000 pistols, uniquely placing his inspection marks on the left side of the hammer and trigger guard, an anomaly among U.S. Ordnance inspectors that remains unexplained to this day. Cimarron’s recreation pays tribute to these scarce government-issued firearms, preserving the defining details that made them the weapon of choice for U.S. Cavalry troops. Watch Harvey discuss the fascinating history of this firearm in the Cimarron Firearms Presents: BOOM!!! With Mike Harvey series below.

“Historical authenticity is not a marketing term for us; it’s our mission,” said Mike Harvey, founder and CEO of Cimarron Firearms. “The U.S. Cavalry ‘Buffalo Soldier’ Model represents years of painstaking research and attention to detail. From the inspection stamps to the overall configuration, this firearm is as close as you can get to the original, and we’re proud to debut it to the industry at SHOT Show.”

SHOT Show attendees are encouraged to visit Cimarron Firearms at Booth 10933 (VE2) to experience these heirloom-quality firearms firsthand and to take advantage of exciting Show Specials available during the trade show.
