“The match had some fantastic stages requiring a wide variety of shooting skills.  One thing you won’t see at many ranges are targets on zip lines that come in from 60 to 70 feet up in the jungle hillside. These served as a backdrop for several of the bays,” commented Allen. “As such, adaptability within your training plan and tools used to drive them became an essential component to having a successful match.”

Allen continued, “A special thank you goes out to Max Rivera of IDPA Puerto Rico, Tom Yost with Smith & Wesson and all of the staff who put together a great match this past weekend.  I appreciate the support of Team ITI, Team RangeLog, Ranier Ballistics, Safariland and others.”

While Allen was competing in Puerto Rico, Team ITI Captain Brandon Wright was at the 2013 USPSA Alabama Sectional Championship, also known as the Heart of Dixie Shootout, held at the East Alabama Gun Club in Phenix City, Alabama from March 15th through 16th, 2013. Wright placed Second in the Production Division, coming in just behind Division Champion Dave Sevigny by 6.123%.
