San Francisco, Calif. (January 2018) – ATN Corp., a leader in advanced electro/digital optics for the outdoors, law enforcement and military professionals, has announced an executive management restructuring designed to enhance the company’s leadership potential and best serve its growing customer base.
Marc Vayn, ATN’s new CTO
Marc Vayn, former ATN CEO, will move to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and remain as Chairman of the Board. Vayn, celebrating his 25th year at ATN, will focus his talents and knowledge in developing advanced products and promoting new technologies in the electro/digital optics industry.
James Munn, ATN’s new CEO
James Munn, President of ATN, will move to the position of CEO. As a former ATN COO and President, Munn will utilize his organizational and sales abilities to drive new business and manage the day-to-day operations of the company.
“James and I are moving into positions that will best serve ATN with our years of experience within the company, as well as our general areas of expertise,” Mr. Vayn explained.
“Marc has been driving the technological advances of ATN and this move will allow him to wholly concentrate on new and truly innovative electro/digital optic products for our future,” Mr. Munn added.
ATN’s night and thermal vision products increased in scope with the addition of their innovative Smart HD Optics line, a line of scopes, monoculars, binoculars, cameras and range finders powered by the ATN Obsidian Core and using HD optics to bring day/night/thermal vision into a whole new era.
The restructuring coincides with ATN’s launch of its new Obsidian 4 line at this year’s SHOT Show. The new products include the X-Sight 4 Pro Day/Night riflescope, X-Sight 4 Buck Hunter Day riflescope and the Thor 4 line of thermal riflescopes. According to Mr. Munn and Mr. Vayn, this will be the most significant product release yet with the latest generation of devices powered by the new Obsidian 4 Dual Processor Core.
