Eagle Imports, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Grand Power firearms products, is pleased to announce that Marius Kazanskis, its sponsored pro shooter, took second place at the IPSC 2015 Shooting Academy Cup that took place June 13-14, 2015 in Poland.
The Shooting Academy cup was the largest Level III competition in Poland this year. Kazanskis competed for two days straight in blistering hot 94 degree temperatures shooting 320 rounds in 18 stages.
“The reason I placed so high at this match was because of my precision shooting. Almost 90 percent of my shots were Alphas which is the highest score a shot can receive in IPSC. My Grand Power X-Calibur ran fast, precise and flawlessly even though the conditions were extremely dusty and hot,” remarked Kazanskis.
The Grand Power X-Calibur was designed to be competition ready right out of the box. It boasts innovative features like a rotating barrel that never tilts up and never leaves the target, making for lighter recoil and better second shot accuracy. It also has a match grade trigger, adjustable sights, modular replaceable back straps, a scalloped slide that reduces weight and a CNC machined steel chassis that provides maximum durability.
“Grand Power is no secret in Europe. Pro shooters have been using its competition ready guns to dominate the IPSC circuit for years. The guns are so much better than the competition it almost gives you an unfair advantage, I’m excited to see what happens when shooters in the U.S. start discovering it,” said Michael Sodini, president of Eagle Imports.
