Ken Jefferies & Associates, LLC, a leading manufacturer’s representation and marketing firm with the outdoor and shooting sports markets, has promoted Chris Carpenter to Midwest Director of sales for KJ&A. Chris formerly ran the northeast territories for KJ&A in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Metro New York and Long Island, and Delaware.

During Chris’ tenure at Wal-Mart, Chris had the opportunity to manage almost every department in the store and was the instructor for the first Assistant Manager training program within the district. At the Concord, North Carolina Bass Pro Shop, Chris managed sales, merchandising, staffing and scheduling for the Fishing / Fly Fishing Department. While working within another manufacturer’s rep group for eight years, Chris gained further experience representing various industry companies in the northeast from large key accounts to smaller dealer accounts.
Upon joining KJ&A, Chris continued to service the northeast corridor until KJ&A President, Ken Jefferies recently promoted Chris to manage the Midwest section of the country. As the Midwest Director of Sales, Chris is now responsible for several large key accounts, including Tractor Supply, Home Depot and Lowe’s, as well as other larger distributors and dealers. The states under his jurisdiction include Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas.
