If it’s entertaining, interesting or controversial, you can bet you’ll find it every Friday in our social media wrap-up, the Social Media Reload. Continue below to see what you may have missed.

JebBush
A+ FOR JEB BUSH
While it’s impossible to separate guns and politics, we try to stay out of political talk. However, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush made noise this week with a simple tweet that included a photo of an FN FNX .45 pistol with his name engraved on the slide and a single-word caption reading “America.” As expected, the tweet drew both support and fire. Just earlier that day, Bush compared his NRA A+ rating to the supposed F rating of fellow candidate, John Kasich, on Facebook.

Anyone who has fired a fully automatic firearm knows just how fun they can be. However, for most people, that’s as close as they get to actually owning one of these rare machines. As TFBTV (The Firearm Blog) explains in great detail in the video above, machine guns are not illegal, but they are not easy to obtain due to various laws and high prices driven up by simple supply and demand. But at the end of the magazine, only you can determine if the cost, wait time and required documentation is worth having a “fun switch.”

CATS60
SMARTPHONES GO THERMAL
One of our first Social Media Reload posts included the FLIR ONE, a thermal camera extension that can be added to smartphones. Nearly a year later, that technology has found its way into a smartphone, the new CAT S60. Integrating the Lepton sensor into the phone itself, the phone as rugged as the machinery that bears the Caterpillar name, making it the perfect tool for engineers, construction workers, inspectors or anyone who simply likes cool technology. The CAT S60 will reportedly be available this summer for $599. (via Gizmodo)
