THE FIRST RESPONDER’S AR-15
One of the many reasons for the AR-15’s popularity is its versatility and the ability to custom build a weapon that fulfills your specific needs as a firearm owner. Filed in 2014, the U.S. Patent Office recently released a patent for the “Firearm-Mounted Rescue Tool.” Instead of a typical AR-style stock, the rifle stock is interchangeable with different tools—such as an axe and crowbar—that will aid emergency first-responders, law enforcement personnel and military personnel in entering buildings. After two years of waiting the patent has finally been filed, but founders Tracey Copeland and Andrew BeGole are in no rush to market. According to Copeland, “the idea behind it was to see if it [was] feasible.” (via Guns.com)

“Vile, over-the-top violent, perverted and unnecessarily graphic … If you’re a veteran, it’s awesome. If you aren’t, you may leave the theater shocked and confused.” That’s how one Facebook user described the new “Range 15” movie that raised more than $1.1 million on Indiegogo last summer and cost $7 million more to make. Featuring the guys of Ranger Up and Article 15 Clothing, Hollywood’s William Shatner, Danny Trejo and Sean Astin, two Medal of Honor recipients, MMA icons Randy Couture, Brian Stann and Tim Kennedy and “Lone Survivor” Marcus Luttrell, it’s no surprise the film has received rave reviews from veterans, sold $500,000 in advance tickets and is likely already sold out in your area. The critics are still out on the movie, but if social media comments and the 97% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes mean anything to you, this is a must-see movie of the year! (via ArmyTimes.com)
