The Social Media Reload: November 20, 2015

Gone are the days of newspapers, magazines and network television. Social media is today’s top source for news, entertainment and information. But with the quick pace of trending topics and 140-character updates, unless you live online you’re bound to miss something. Luckily for you, that’s my job! The Social Media Reload features the most popular, interesting, entertaining and controversial content in the firearms and outdoors industry from the past week and repackages it into a quick list with a bang. If you know anything about YouTuber FPSRussia, it’s that he’s about as crazy as they come. With that well-known, it should come as no surprise that he can be seen with Richard Ryan of FullMag, Iraqveteran8888 and others driving through a house with a tank in glorious destructive fashion in his most recent video. In what is his most expensive production thus far, the home destruction derby includes a .50 BMG machine gun, explosives and said tank, all caught from numerous camera angles. FPSRussia even goes as far as to blow the roof off the home while sitting in the tank inside! Don’t try this at home, kids. (via OutdoorHub)

Keeping with the “home destruction” theme this week, there’s now a new, easier way to unclog a toilet. Redneck Life Professional, TWANGnBANG, details how to clear up any No. 2 and get your toilet flushing No. 1 again with the help of a shotgun and precision marksmanship. Armed with a pump shotgun and 2-3/4″ slugs, TWANGnBANG is careful to empty the tank first, relieving the toilet of back pressure, before politely removing the seat and getting down and dirty. In all seriousness, where can we find a shotgun plunger like this?

Have you ever been sneezed on before by a family member, pet or even a camel (don’t ask)? Recently, two motorists found out what it’s like to be sneezed on by a buck when they roll up on a mob of deer. By our best guess, it appears the couple had been sitting among the deer for a while with the windows down taking pictures of the close encounter when all of a sudden a lone brazen buck approaches the driver side window, puts his snout in the car and sneezes before going over to the passenger side for round two. Okay, okay, it could have been a snort, but either way it’s pretty gross. Funny, but gross. (via OutdoorHub)
