Tacprogear BLACK, the exclusive line of American-made products offered by TPG, announced today the Bonz GRID-HERCULES™ Plate Carrier for tactical operators demanding protection against a range of threats and compatibility with auxiliary components.
The TPG BLACK Bonz GRID-HERCULES™ Plate Carrier is designed to hold any of TPG’s new NIJ certified hard armor plates for front and back rifle protection in the full range of military SAPI-shaped sizes as well as most 10”x12” plate variations. The outer shell is water, chemical, flame, abrasion and impact resistant to help protect the tactical operator from any scenario. A drag handle is incorporated into the design in case of an emergency extraction. In addition, the Bonz GRID-HERCULES™ Plate Carrier comes with fully adjustable bungee side straps allowing this plate carrier to fit most individuals. It is compatible with MOLLE equipment and an array of auxiliary components.
The Bonz plate carrier is constructed using GRID-HERCULES™ engineered material provided by Absecon Mills, Inc. It is a highly-specialized, unique polymer coating that is applied to an advanced textile fabric specifically designed to enhance physical properties, such as impact, abrasion, heat and flame resistance, as well as tear and tensile strength and waterproof performance.
TPG BLACK’s Bonz GRID-HERCULES™ Plate Carrier is currently available in Black, Tan, Coyote Brown and Ranger Green. It will soon be available in MultiCam®, MultiCam® Black and the Kryptek® line of camouflage patterns. TPG manufactures the Bonz Plate Carrier in their new facility in Miami, Florida as part of the BLACK line.
