Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) members Laura Torres-Reyes and Cindi Thomas participated in the USPSA sanctioned 2013 Western Pennsylvania Sections Championship held at the Gem City Gun Club in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania over the June 15 – 16, 2013 weekend. Torres-Reyes came away with a win in High Lady Production and Thomas took 2nd Lady in the Limited Division. Results are available at uspsa.org.

“Kudos to Match Director, Matt Dylewski and his staff for executing a truly fun and enjoyable match experience!” Laura Torres-Reyes commented after the match. “The stages were innovative and challenging for every skill level. The conditions were optimal, due to a combination of great weather, outstanding organization and super squad mates. I especially enjoyed the Stage 7 Zombie Stomp that stated with knocking the ‘head’ off of a wooden model, then a field course engaging multiple targets imbedded in a heavily wooded arena. What a blast!”

About Laura Torres-Reyes
Laura Torres-Reyes first started shooting at the young age of 46 after her retired Marine Corps husband taught her how to safely handle a firearm. Prior to being selected to join Team ITI she was a member of Team Smith & Wesson for two years. Colonel Torres-Reyes, a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit recipient, is an Active Duty Air Force physician currently stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Doctor Torres-Reyes competes in IDPA as an SSP EX and USPSA Production C class and has earned over forty High Lady and High Military State / Regional Championship titles.
About Cindi Thomas
Cindi Thomas has been competing for the past five shooting seasons in USPSA and IDPA. In USPSA, she competes in Production “B,” as well as Limited / Limited 10, while in IDPA she is an ESP Sharpshooter and SSP Expert. Thomas’ recent accomplishes include: 2012 Western PA Sectional Ladies Champion, 6th among the ladies in the 2012 USPSA Production Nationals and USPSA Limited 10 Nationals. She is a Navy Veteran, having served seven years, and now works in a civilian capacity for the Navy as a Financial Analyst. Thomas has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Maryland University College and has graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School’s “Executive Masters in Business Administration” program in 2012.
