Team ITI Captain, Brandon Wright Places 3rd Overall in Production at
Area 8 Championships in Pennsylvania.
Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) members Morgan Allen and Gary Byerly participated in the North Carolina State IDPA Championship held August 10, 2013 at the Watauga Gun Club in Boone, NC. 185 competitors attended the state match. Morgan Allen won the ESP Division for the fifth time in a row and Gary Byerly won the CPD Division. The NC State IDPA Championship featured 12 challenging stages.

“The Watauga Gun Club, once again, was the site of the 2013 NC IDPA State Championship. This match had a little of everything; moving targets, unique stages, rain, mud and even a high altitude target,” Gary Byerly, winner of the CDP Division commented. “Thanks to Gary Hoyle and his staff for a great time and congratulations to my teammate, Morgan Allen, for his outstanding performance.”
Morgan Allen, winner of the ESP Division added, “With shooters traveling as far away as Puerto Rico, this year’s championship gave every shooter the variety expected from a well-run state match. Complete with a two-story tall swinger appearing in an upper floor house window and a cover line situated optical sensor activating disappearing targets which crossed, to basic and core target arrays, stages in the match this year applied a test of each shooters’ well-rounded practice and preparation. Thanks to the great folks at ITI, Rangelog, Safariland, Rainier Ballistics and others for their support. Congrats to all the winners and Gary Byerly for another CDP Division win!”

During the NC State IDPA Championships, ITI Captain, Brandon Wright competed in the Area 8 Championship in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Brandon placed 3rd overall in the Production Division.

About Morgan Allen
It’s hard to believe that Morgan Allen has only been shooting pistols since 2005, considering he has over 40 IDPA State and Regional Division Championship titles under his belt since 2007. Having moved up the ladder from an IDPA Novice to Master in only 14 months, Allen has also won eight top-five Division finishes at IDPA National Championship matches. In 2011, he was chosen to be a member of the 2011 US Team at the IDPA World Championship. Allen is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, as well as an IDPA Safety Officer and PPC Master.
About Gary Byerly
Gary Byerly has been competing in IDPA matches for the past ten years and USPSA and 3-Gun matches for seven years. He is an IDPA ESP and SSP Master, as well as a six-time IDPA State Champion. Byerly is a Master in Production and CDP, a Master in Limited 10 and Single Stack and holds an “A” Classification in Open and Limited in USPSA. Byerly is also a four time Area class winner and a one-time Area Champion.
About Brandon Wright
Brandon Wright served four years as a Law Enforcement Officer and four years as a State Trooper in the Virginia State Police. In addition, Wright was a member of the local police department S.W.A.T. Team. Wright has over nine years of experience as a Firearms Instructor, which he puts into practice at G4S ITI as their Senior Firearms Instructor. He is a Distinguished Master in IDPA and an IDPA National Champion. Wright also holds a Grand Master classification in USPSA Production.
