Currently in its fourth season, Animal Planet’s River Monsters is the best performing show in network history. The series is hosted by biologist and extreme angler, Jeremy Wade, whose globe-trotting mission is to investigate freshwater mysteries and underwater myths, while catching and releasing some of the most bizarre and dangerous underwater creatures on earth.

frenzied thrills and adventure of Wade’s travels by unveiling new rods, lures and tools. This new River Monsters fishing adventure gear will be revealed at the ICAST show in Orlando, FL, July 11 – 13.
Goliath technology
The newly designed items range from heavy duty multi-function tools to hand selected lure kits, and feature the special River Monsters GOLIATH rod series. The GOLIATH takes a “bite” out of technology by building an ultra-flexible rod designed to take maximum abuse from any monster fish. A two-piece rod made from E-glass fibers and state-of-the-art epoxy resins, the GOLIATH is fused with an outer ultra-flex epoxy resin spiral scrim that gives it maximum flexibility and an exposed split-reel seat lets you feel all the subtle movement below the surface of the water. The new GOLIATH rod series is available in a 7 ft. spinning, 6.6 ft. spinning, 6 ft. spinning and a 5.6 ft. spincast model.
Also debuting at ICAST, River Monsters Junior, a line designed for the youngest fishing anglers, features a spincast rod, custom camouflage mini-gear bag and junior net to catch bugs and minnows. This line is geared toward kids ages four-eight.
