Bergara Rifles Notes Increase in Demand During Industry Return to Normalcy

Due to hard work, an increase in name recognition and a growing reputation for impeccable rifles, Bergara has seen an enormous increase in product demand over the past two years.

Lawrenceville, Ga. (July 2017) – Bergara Rifles, a division of BPI Outdoors, is pleased to announce it has experienced an increase in product demand over the past two years. Dealers, distributors and retailers are reporting that demand for Bergara’s rifles continues to increase. As a result, Bergara has continued to expand its products and introduced the B-14 HMR and BMP at the 2017 SHOT Show. Due to the sustained growth of the Bergara Rifles brand name, the hard work of the entire staff and the increase in product demand, the company has found themselves in a spot where higher production capacity is needed to meet the enormous demand.

“I’m fortunate enough to find myself surrounded by a team that is positive, hardworking and some of the best people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with,” said Ben Fleming, VP of marketing and sales at Bergara Rifles. “We are focused on the long-term goals and strategy of our company. We are going to continue our hard work to stay relevant in our market and to continue to grow the Bergara Rifles brand. We have a lot of gratitude to those who have helped us get to where we are today.”While industry sales can be greatly affected by which political party is in power, Bergara Rifles is fortunate to find its sales are not dependent upon fear based purchasing. According to a recent NPR article, hunters, target and competition shooters purchasing habits are not affected by who is president. This demographic makes up a large portion of who Bergara Rifles customers are. While the industry saw a drop off in background checks and gun sales from December through February, March through May sales have been at or above record levels, showing that the market has returned to a more normalized condition consistent with 2015’s firearm sales, which was before major political and terrorism events led to spikes in demand in 2016.

Bergara Rifles has found that its dealer orders have been significantly higher from previous years. Bergara strives to offer a great product that shows quality, value and profit for customers, and in doing so, the demand for the Bergara products has continued to tick upward.

Bergara Rifles has had a particularly successful year and the firearm industry media has taken notice. Read the recent press release “Bergara Rifles Wins Six Major Awards in a Little Over a Year” to find out more.

This year Bergara Rifles rounded out its selection of products for hunters and shooters with the introductions of the B-14 HMR and BMP. The HMR and BMP have been major hits and have been a big factor in the overall growth of the company in 2017.

Bergara Rifles knows as long as it continues to focus on the development of its world-class firearms, continues to release products that consumers demand and that dealers and distributors want to sell, its sales will continue to break records regardless of the state of the gun industry.
