Eagle Imports, Inc., importers of the popular Bersa line of firearms and exclusive distributor of the Metro Arms family, were pleased to see the BP9CC pistol make an appearance on the hit TV drama “The Good Wife.” The TV drama, which celebrated its 100th episode in “The Decision Tree” featuring the BP9CC pistol, is a series that focuses on Alicia Florrick (Julianne Margulies) and her former husband and Cook County State’s Attorney, Peter Florrick (Chris North) following a very public sex and corruption scandal. The premise of “The Good Wife” is based on several recent public airings of individuals in political power that fall from grace as their wives appear to “stand by their man.”
The character “Kalinda Sharma” (Archie Panjabi) discusses the merits of the Bersa with a female cop “Jenna” (Jordana Spiro) employed by the person of interest Kalinda is assigned to tail. While Jenna admits to carrying a competitor’s brand, Kalinda expresses her loyalty to her tried and true Bersa pistol.
The BPCC was the first Bersa polymer frame handgun specifically designed for concealed-carry, personal protection. The BPCC’s ergonomic design improves line-of-sight and provides greater control during use. The BPCC features accuracy and fire power in a lightweight, compact, ultra-thin handgun.
Bersa pistols have also been featured recently in the NCIS: The Video Game (2011) and the movie Black Out (2012).
