Mossy Oak Hunting Accessories will be unveiling their new IronRig Cast Iron Decoy Anchors, the latest addition to their Whistling Wings line of waterfowl accessories, at this year’s SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
The IronRig Anchors are the industry’s first lead‐free cast iron decoy anchors, making them a more cost effective and affordable option for rigging decoys.
They are available pre-rigged as well as loose for custom rigging, and are offered in two different shapes – the Diamond Grip, for more secure anchoring in rough waters, and the Flat-Belly No‐Roll Egg, a distinctive, one‐of‐a‐kind egg shape, that won’t roll on the bottom.
“The Texas Rig improved the process of putting out and taking in decoys by dramatically reducing the time and effort invested,” said Mossy Oak Hunting Accessories Product Manager Mike Jones. “Our IronRig Cast Iron Decoy Anchors build upon this by drastically reducing the cost, while at the same time removing 100% of the lead from the rigging materials, which of course is better for the hunter and for the environment.”
