Andy Langlois, founder of Andy’s Leather, Shottist and The Scout Rifle Forum, has announced that his company Shottist, which has served the shooting industry for over 30 years, is available for purchase.
Nebo, N.C. (September 2016) – Andrew Langlois, founder and owner of Andy’s Leather, Shottist and The Scout Rifle Forum, has announced that his company Shottist, purveyor of custom holsters and accessories to the shooting community for over 30 years, is for sale. Shottist is an online custom holster and belt business available at www.shottist.com. With a worldwide following, Shottist services the concealed carry, hunting and competitive shooting markets in the US, as well as avid sportsmen in Europe and hunters in Africa.
Known for the traditionally made Yaqui Slide Holster for the 1911, Langlois makes both inexpensive and custom holsters for other handguns as well. His other products include a Scabbard Style Holster, a Belt Slide Holster, Pocket Holsters and custom leather belts. Shottist’s latest product, an IWB holster, will soon be released.
“Many people know me from Andy’s Leather,” commented Langlois. “My rifle slings are carried by Steyr Arms, Ruger®, Gunsite Academy, A.H. Larsen and by Brownells®. I’ve been so busy with my sling business that I haven’t been able to give Shottist the attention it deserves and have made the strategic decision to sell the company.”
Langlois continued, “Shottist is a complete turnkey business, with an active e-commerce website and multiple informational sites, inventory and tools/die/patterns included in the sale. Training and set up will be provided at the new owner’s location with follow up support. Everything is currently located at my shop in Nebo, North Carolina and can easily be moved via truck.”
