The SIG SAUER® Steel Challenge Competition: First Event at the SIG SAUER Academy Well Attended

The world renowned SIG SAUER Academy, located in Epping, New Hampshire, hosted their first Steel Challenge Shooting Event on July 31, 2010. The Steel Challenge is fast becoming one of the most popular shooting competitions in the country with scores based on skill and speed shooting. A large turn-out of 57 competitive shooters turned up at the SIG SAUER Academy including Max Michel, the Team Captain for the SIG SAUER Shooting Team. Six divisions were represented in Open, Rimfire Open, Limited, Production, Rimfire Limited and Revolver Open. There were eight SCSA course-of-fire stages featuring targets anywhere from 7 yard to 35 yards. Door prizes were awarded including a SIG SAUER P229 Airsoft pistol, a SIG SAUER Stoplight and laser and a SIG SAUER mini dot sight.
