Team International Training, Inc. (ITI) Captain Brandon Wright participated at the 2013 IDPA US National Championship, held September 17th – 21st, 2013 at the United States Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK. Over 340 competitors from across the world, as far away as Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Europe, competed against each other through 17 stages and over 237 rounds of fire to find fame and glory. Wright won the Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) Division with a final match score of 225.69 (51). To view the official results, visit here. Team ITI Captain Brandon Wright at 2013 IDPA Nationals
“This year’s US IDPA Nationals were one of the best ‘total package’ matches of the year. Everything from the hotel arrangements to the stages were what a national match should be,” commented Wright. “The stages tested your ability to shoot, not who could figure out the fastest way to shoot the stage. Although there was not a lot of movements or positional shooting, your accuracy had to be on or you would fall behind. I’d like to thank everyone involved that made this year’s Nationals one that I will not forget.”
Wright continued, “A big thank you goes to Burwell Gunsmithing for getting my Smith & Wesson® M&P Pro up to speed for the match as well as International Training, Inc. (ITI), Atlanta Arms and Ammo, Warren Tactical, Safariland, and 5.11 for their continued support.”
Brandon Wright will next compete at the INFINITY Firearms NC Sectional Championship 2013 to be held October 4th – 6th, 2013 at the Sir Walter Gun Club in Creedmoor, NC.

About Brandon Wright
Brandon Wright served four years as a Law Enforcement Officer and four years as a State Trooper in the Virginia State Police. In addition, Wright was a member of the local police department S.W.A.T. Team. Wright has over nine years of experience as a Firearms Instructor, which he puts into practice at G4S ITI as their Senior Firearms Instructor. He is a Distinguished Master in IDPA and an IDPA National Champion. Wright also holds a Grand Master classification in USPSA Production.
