The second largest US Army installation also has the largest contiguous tract of unrestricted airspace in the US, used for artillery training and missile testing.

Lexington, KY (July 2023)U.S. Patriot, a GALLS® company, and one of the largest military suppliers of uniforms, boots, and gear, are heading into ita final five military bases from its 25-military base, 6800-mile U.S. Patriot Bravery Tour. The tour was designed to stop at military bases to meet U.S. Patriot customers face-to-face, partly to pay respects to the men and women who serve, and partly to understand their customer base better.

The USP team is driving a 2023 Jeep® Wrangler Willys 4×4 that is part of the Bravery Tours promotion, in which, at each stop the team will offer food, drink, promos, giveaways, and more. The event will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Fort Bliss base exchange at Bldg. 1611 Haan and Marshall Road. The event is open to all former and current military members and their families.

“The purpose of this tour is to meet our customers face-to-face, get to know our troops, and bring their voice directly into how we serve them better for their tactical gear needs.,” Mike Fadden, CEO of U.S. Patriot, said. “There is no better way to honor the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who serve our country than to meet them in person, celebrate their stories and create a fun and memorable event they can enjoy with their families.”

The tour will be interactive, and the military service members will be encouraged to leave their unit’s memorabilia on the Jeep, making it one-of-its-kind by the end of the tour. At the conclusion of the tour, the Jeep will be given away through a sweepstake random drawing to one lucky winner. All active-duty military members, national guard members, reservists, military retirees, military veterans, and dependents of active-duty military members are eligible to enter the sweepstakes. No purchase is necessary.

About Fort Bliss:

Located in Southwest Texas bordering New Mexico and Old Mexico, Fort Bliss was established in 1848 as an infantry and cavalry post. It was named after LTC William Bliss, a mathematics professor who was the son-in-law of President Zachary Taylor.

At the beginning of WWII, Fort Bliss became the center for Anti-Aircraft Artillery training and eventually evolved into the Air Defense Center. It is currently the home of the 1st Armored Division, the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, the Joint Modernization Command, the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence, and the Joint Task Force North.

Strike Focus is a multifaceted exercise designed to test and train the 2ABCT’s capabilities in simulated scenarios mirroring real-life combat scenarios while improving 2ABT’s lethality, readiness and deployability.
